Joshua Introduction

Synopsis:
The Israelites are now under the leadership of Joshua.  He must lead them into battle against the various clans of the Canaanites ultimately relying on God to provide victory as long as they remain faithful and obedient to His Law.  The Israelites put together a string of victories that gives them primary control of the land that is then allotted to the 12 tribes.  The Israelites however don't complete the job that God commanded them to do, which results in occasional military failures but pending spiritual apostacy.  At the close of the book, Joshua charges the people to remain faithful and obedient.
